MUMS takes second at U.I.L. District Championship
The academic U.I.L. teams from Morris Upchurch Middle School competed in their district competition in Dec., at Queen City. Queen City sixth-eighth grade students won second place overall in the junior high district.
The middle school teams earned 65 awards for placing in the top six individually. Another 78 awards were earned for placing in the top three teams in each event.
Elementary U.I.L. did not take place this year, however our fifth grade students did an in-house competition for those students and would like to recognize them as well.
