FUMC - Queen City free meal

The First United Methodist Church in Queen City, Texas will be serving a free meal of beans and cornbread on Monday, January 10, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. After a short devotional, the meal will be served. All are invited. The church is located at 301 Marietta Street. Call Pastor Jeff Dotson (903-826-5828) for more information.

Genealogical Society to meet

The Cass County Genealogical Society will hold its “Second Tuesday Meeting” on January 11, 2022. The program for this meeting will a video, “Military Bounty Land in Genealogy” that was presented by Zachary Hamilton at the 2021 Texas State Genealogical Society Family History Conference. You won’t want to miss this interesting and informative program.

The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us and bring a friend to the meeting in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City, Texas at the corner of Marietta and Fourth Streets.

As always, we will serve a light meal and beverages and the public is always invited.
