Christmas In The Park

Jay Stewart of McLeod dressed, appropriately enough, as Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation - complete with sewer hose and bathrobe.
More than 2800 people drove through Atlanta State Park Friday and Saturday night combined for the annual Christmas in the Park drive through lights display. More than 40 campsites were occupied and decorated for the event. On hand at the entrance to greet guests were Smokey the Bear, the Grinch, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause. The event was free, but visitors were asked to bring canned good donations. They received enough to make sizable donations to two local food pantries. Photos by Kate Stow
