Lady Tigers earn All-District honors

The Linden-Kildare Lady Tiger volleyball season came to an end on Nov. 1. The team played well in the second half of district play to force a one-game district playoff contest against Maud. The winner would advance to the playoffs.

The Lady Tigers won that game against Maud and qualified for the playoffs where they would play a very strong, experienced team from Quinlan Boles in the bi-district round.

The Lady Tigers lost that game in straight sets but had a successful season returning to the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Several Lady Tigers earned All-District honors. Those ladies are: senior Hayley Mason - First Team All-District and Academic All-District; senior LaSonya Nard - Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-District; senior Allie Smallwood - Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-District; senior Sydney Hampton - Academic All-District; senior Madison Ebarb - Academic All-District; junior Kyndal Fitts - Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-District; sophomore Madilyn Bynum - Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-District; sophomore Rylee Burns - Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-District and sophomore Kaycee Neville - Honorable Mention All-District.
