Sheppard named MVP, Banks Coach of the Year

Atlanta’s volleyball team made history this season as they finished district play undefeated and went to the fourth round of the playoffs.

It’s no wonder the Lady Rabbs dominated the All-District list released recently.

Sophomore standout Kym Sheppard was named MVP, junior Rylie Pattillo was named Most Valuable Setter, junior Kaylon Partain was named Most Valuable Libero and Head Coach Quen Banks was named Coach of the Year.

Destinee Wells and Alley Jefferson took home First Team Honors, Keymya Smith and AnneMarie Hanner took home Second Team honors and Honorable Mention players were: Sabriiyah Young, Amaya Williams, Kinlee Hamilton, Ziza Garcia, Madison McCoy, JaNeisha Fields, Cara Taylor and Jaliyah Brown.
