VETERAN’S DAY CELEBRATION 2021

Area schools celebrate Veterans Day.

ATLANTA

QUEEN CITY

Veterans were recognized and honored on all three campuses of Queen City ISD yesterday. Morris Upchurch Middle School kicked things off with a ceremony where veterans in attendance were able to share what branch of the military they served in along with when and where they were stationed followed by breakfast. Queen City High School students honored veterans with a program designed by the QCHS National Honor Society and then treated them to lunch in the library. J.K. Hileman Elementary students wrapped things up yesterday afternoon with a musical presented by the third-grade class, a medal presentation, and a slideshow.
