Lady ’Cats destroy Big Sandy, 90-11
Bloomburg’s varsity girls’ team started off the season with a bang last Friday night as they crushed Big Sandy 90-11.
The Lady Wildcats had a 31-2 lead after quarter one and boasted a 54-5 lead at halftime.
Bloomburg outscored Big Sandy 36-6 in the second half to seal the 79-point win.
The Lady ’Cats were solid on both ends of the court and are being sought by local law enforcement after stealing the ball 35 times during the route.
Cassie Glasgow was 13-of-16 from the floor as she poured in 28 points and had six steals; Haylee Breedlove added 20 with seven steals; Jacee Glasgow had 17 points with four boards, five assists and 14 steals; Kaleigh Glasgow had eight points with three rebounds; Katie Mote added eight points; Kenzie LaDuke had five points and Carley Castagnetta had four points.
