STATE BOUND

Atlanta’s Big Bad Band from Rabbit Land and Queen City’s Band of Champions finished second and third respectively at the UIL 3A - Area Marching Contest in Lindale last Saturday. Both bands have qualified for state which will take place in San Antonio on Wednesday, Nov. 3. In celebration of this momentous occasion, we are building a special section in honor of the two area bands set to come out on Nov. 3. In the section, you can represent your favorite band student for only $35. In fact, each student can have more than one congratulatory salute! A portion of each ad will go to our local band for their state trips. Parents, Grandparents, friends, teachers, family members, and businesses can all participate. Information and money must be turned in by Friday at 3 p.m. to be included. We are hoping every student will be featured. You can drop off payments for these ads here in our office located at 306 W. Main St. in Atlanta.
