Linden-Kildare XC shines, JH girls crowned champs
Linden-Kildare’s cross country teams from high school down had a very good finish this past weekend.
For the varsity girls’ team, Madilyn Bynum placed 10th overall with a time of 14:19 and advanced to regionals.
Charis Minson placed 13th at 14:44 and Yedith Uribe, Clarissa Peterson and Hailey Lane turned in good times.
For the varsity boys’ team, the entire team gets to move on to regionals after placing third overall.
Dillon Roberts placed 14th overall and Jakyrik Nard, Logan Grandmaison, Polo Ugalde and Nicholas Lane all turned in good times.
At the junior high level the Lady Tigers were crowned district champions.
Carley Hays placed third overall with a time of 13:37, Hannah Snow was fourth at 14:20, Maggee Winters placed seventh at 15:15 and Kalysa Roberts placed ninth at 15:24.
MaKinnah Washington placed 22nd overall, Olivia Stewart was 25th, Emma Stewart 30th, Nadia Turner 31st, Summer Gibson 33rd, Marisol Nunez 34th and Alexis Benton 35th.
The boys’ team competed well as Eberado Padilla placed 13th overall.
Teammates Kolten Lemmon and Kiefer Phillips placed 22nd and 23rd respectively.
