Urgent call for 4-H enrollment

The local extension office has made an urgent call for 4-H enrollment for both adults and youths. Currently they have a large county 4-H program that consists of a variety of clubs that are run by volunteers. Typically the 4-H clubs here focus on a broad range of topics, however some are more interest specific. 4-H has different levels of membership. For instance, if your child is in Kinder-2nd grade, they can be registered as a clover kid. Children who are in the 3rd-12th grades have full 4-H membership. Also, if your child is entering the 3rd grade, please wait until after September 1st to enroll so the system will not put them into the clover group.

To enroll you will need to set up a family profile online at https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in. After you have created a profile you will need to enroll in at least one club and one project (this should be your child’s main interest area). You can enroll in a maximum of five clubs.

It should als be noted that you can enroll in any club you wish to do your project even though some clubs focus more on specific projects such as Livestock or Shooting Sports, College & Career Readiness, Gardening and Nutrition, Healthy Living and STEM related project. Please call us here at the Cass County Extension Office at 903- 756-5391 for more information and if you need help with enrollment.

Here are the current Clubs. You can get the contact information by reaching out to the extention office.
