Atlanta at Gilmer
Atlanta travels to Gilmer this Friday for the 56th meeting between the two programs.
The Rabbits and Buckeyes have been playing on and off since 1925.
Atlanta and Gilmer have played consistently from years 1964 to 1979 and from 2010 to the present.
The last time the Rabbs beat Gilmer was in 2003 when they won a state championship.
Since then Gilmer has won 15 straight against the Rabbits.
The two teams began playing back in 1951 and the Rabbs won the first five meetings before Pewitt reeled off four in a row.
From 1936 to 2003 Atlanta had a 26-6 record against the Buckeyes, and from 1966 to 2003 Gilmer only won one game against the Rabbit Express who ran up an 18-1 record over Gilmer.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Queen City vs. Quitman
Queen City will host the Quitman Bulldogs this Friday on Homecoming night.
The two teams have only played twice before with Queen City winning 33-0 in 2005 and 65-13 last season.
The Bulldogs are coming off of a 57-12 thumping of Union Grove and look to go 3-0 for the second straight year.
Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
Linden-Kildare at DeKalb
Linden-Kildare travels to DeKalb this Friday for another meeting with the Bears.
The two teams have only played each other a handful of times, but DeKalb has won the last four meetings.
The Tigers are set for a breakthrough as they have experienced two heartbreak losses to begin the season.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
