Atlanta vs. Pewitt

Atlanta hosts Paul Pewitt this Friday night for its first home game of the season.

The two teams began playing back in 1951 and the Rabbs won the first five meetings before Pewitt reeled off four in a row.

Atlanta holds a 17-9-1 all-time record against the Brahmas. Before last year the two teams hadn’t played each other since 1997.

Pewitt ended a Rabbit 5-contest winning streak against them back in 1996 and as of this season have a 3-game winning streak over the Rabbits.

Atlanta lost to Daingerfield last weekend and Pewitt lost to Winnsboro so both teams are searching for its first win.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Queen City at Union Grove

Queen City earned an epic win in its rivalry game against Linden-Kildare last Friday night.

This week the Bulldogs travel to Union Grove to take on the Lions.

Last year the Bulldogs beat Union Grove 18-14 and look to win again which would give them a 2-0 start for the second consecutive season.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Linden-Kildare at Clarksville

Linden-Kildare is coming off a close, heartbreaking loss to rival Queen City, but looks to get into the win column this week as they travel to Clarksville to take on the other Tigers.

Last year L-K lost to Clarksville 9-8 and from a look at the record books each time Clarksville has won it’s been narrow.

L-K on the other hand usually outscores the other Tigers by a lot and puts an exclamation on it.

Our Tigers will use some good momentum from this last game in hopes of pulling out a win in Clarksville.

Clarksville lost to Whitewright 49-0 in its season opener.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
