Professional photographer gives pointers

This past Friday Wayne Grubbs, a professional sports photographer for Max-Preps, gave Mrs. Smoak’s 7th period Tiger Tracks Yearbook staff some tips and tricks of the trade. Students learned the importance of lighting, how to anticipate action, and get low on the sidelines to capture the perfect shot. We are grateful to professionals like Mr. Grubbs for taking the time to come share their experiences with our students.

Ms. Patterson’s reading classes held their Class Library Grand Opening this week. Mrs. McCord read “Spaghetti on a Hot Dog Bun” to the classes and had the honor of cutting the ribbon. We can’t wait to hear about all of the things our students will learn from reading this year.
