Lady Bulldogs outlast Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill

Queen City’s varsity volleyball team battled Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill in a fantastic five-set match on Aug. 13.

Playing in front of the home crowd, Queen City didn’t disappoint.

Chapel Hill looked to give QC an L on the schedule after taking sets one and two by identical scores of 25-19, but the Lady Bulldogs stormed back and took set three 25-22 and set four 29-27.

In the fifth and deciding set the Lady Bulldogs posted a 15-10 score to win the contest.

Senior Chyna Stiger recorded 12 kills and 11 digs, senior Nyla Pearl added eight digs, five aces and 12 service points, sophomore Trinity Oden posted six kills and six aces and freshman Keeli Mainer added five kills and six aces.
