Salvation, are you really saved?

Salvation- to be delivered, rescued, made whole, preserved.

Matthew 1:21- And she (Mary) shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus (Jehovah is Salvation), and he shall SAVE his people from their sins.

Jesus came preaching, Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Repentance, what is that? To feel sorry for what one has done, for their actions. To change one’s mind for the better. To become conscious of sin and seek Gods pardon, to admit that you are a sinner.

In Matthew 18:11, Jesus says “For the Son of Man is come to SAVE that which was lost”.

Acts 2:21- And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be SAVED.

Acts 4:12- Neither is there SALVATION in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED.

Acts 13:39- And by him ALL that believe are justified (made righteous) from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

Romans 10:8- But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that is the word of faith, which we preach. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto SALVATION.

Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love, wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened (made alive) us together with Christ, (by grace are ye SAVED,). For by grace are ye SAVED through faith (in Christ Jesus), and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 Peter 1:18- Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.

As the song goes, I am redeemed, I’ve been bought with a price. Jesus has changed my whole life. If anybody asks you just who I am, tell them I am redeemed.

Our SALVATION came with a great price, it cost Jesus Christ his life. His blood was shed on a cruel cross. He suffered greatly at the hands of men. We cannot take our SALVATION lightly.

He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6.

SALVATION, Its more than just saying “I believe in Jesus” for even the devil knows who Jesus is!! But it is a commitment to him, a turning away from sin, a cleansing from the old man to become a new creature in Christ Jesus. It is being made one with our Lord and Savior. Forgiven, washed, made clean, changed, eternal life. If you haven’t experienced TRUE SALVATION, then reach for him, call on his name and be SAVED.
