L-K CISD announces Tiger Time Afterschool Program
Linden-Kildare CISD is proud to offer a grant-funded 21st Community Learning Center partnership with TEA Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE). The program known as Tiger Time provides various afterschool services, programs, and activities that engage students and allow for more learning to take place during the extended school day.
Activities and hands-on, engaging learning experiences will include culinary arts, music, storytelling, physical activities, STEAM projects, reading clubs, board games and contests, technology applications, including coding. Students and parents will have opportunities to assist in designing activities and participating throughout the program. This participation gives parents a chance to engage and become deeply involved in their child’s educational experiences.
The Tiger Time afterschool program is an exciting opportunity for our entire community to engage students and family members. The program includes bus transportation and food for all LKCISD students PreK3 to eighth grade, Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 6:30. Tiger Time begins on Monday, August 30th. Applications are available in the elementary office or via email.
