State Bank is moving

Effective, July 15, 2021, State Bank has agreed to assume the current leases of the Wells Fargo branch bank and relocate its existing office to the downtown Atlanta bank building according to Joe Nichols, CEO of State Bank. The relocation is expected to occur in September 2021 assuming regulatory approval and completion of all facility and equipment updates. A State Bank ATM should be installed by mid-August.

Corey Graf, State Bank’s Atlanta Market President, said that “State Bank’s Atlanta team could not be more thrilled with the move. While we love our current location, we have outgrown the space needed to deliver State Bank’s brand of community banking service”. Nichols added, “We have exceeded all our expectations since we opened in December 2018. This will allow us to hire additional bankers to serve our Cass County customers”.

Located at 204 E. Main Street, State Bank plans to rebrand the Wells Fargo building and upgrade the banking equipment prior to relocating. It has not determined its plans for its current bank building yet.

Opened in 1937, State Bank provides banking services through its community bank branches in DeKalb, Clarksville, Texarkana, Nash, and Atlanta along with a full array of on-line services. In addition, State Bank has plans to open a branch in New Boston, Texas. It has $395 million total assets, $36 million capital, and 72 employees.
