ROWDY HALEY Celebrating five years of giving

Each year at Rowdy Haley’s birthday party, he asks his friends and family to donate money to his fundraiser instead of giving him birthday presents. This year at his birthday party he collected $153.05!

Rowdy just celebrated his 11th birthday, and he’s been hosting birthday fundraisers since he turned six. His chosen charity this year is Shriners Hospitals for Children-Shreveport, LA. Rowdy’s goal for his 11th birthday is to collect $2100, and he’s already very close to meeting his goal!

Not only does he donate his birthday money, Rowdy also raises money in other ways. He started this year’s fundraiser by making three homemade paper towel holders and auctioning them off during Wildflower Trails.

There is only one more chance for you to donate to his cause - on Friday, July 9, 2021, Rowdy will be hosting his annual Chili Dog Stand Fundraiser. He will be at the Linden Garden Club, 300 E. Houston St., Linden, TX from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. $10 dollars will buy an Eckrich sausage link on a bun topped with homemade chili, served with chips and a drink. If you choose to do so, you can top your delicious chili dog off with some of his fixin’s which will be cheese, sauerkraut, onions, pickles, or sautéed onions and bell peppers. He will be inside this year, so there will be a cool place to sit and eat if you desire.
