“First, I would like to take a moment to point out how ecstatic I am about our JH Track teams being able to compete this season. This was our seventh and eighth graders’ first time to ever experience what track season was all about,” Head Coach Carla Hines said. “With a little over a month to prepare for district, the JH Lady Tigers worked hard and it definitely paid off. Last week we traveled to Rivercrest where we left it all out on the track. I couldn’t have been more proud of the way L-K was represented by our young athletes. These ladies finished second in district and competed as champions do.”
