Queen City archers right on target at state tourney
Queen City had 54 archers compete in the 2021 Texas-NASP State Tournament and some of them also competed in the 2021 Texas-Nasp /IBO 3D Challenge along with 2,000 other archers from across the state in grades 4-12 Mar. 22-23.
Forty of those archers also met the criteria to be named as an Academic Archer.
All three teams (Elementary/Middle School and High School) competed very well as they represented QC.
Queen City seventh grader, Caleb Kimble, was able to walk away as the Middle School State Champion in 3-D, Second Overall Boys in the State behind one high school student.
He also placed second in the Middle School Boys Division in the Bullseye Challenge, Overall Boys Rank - eighth.
- Queen City fifth grader, Easton West, placed second in the Elementary Division in 3-D, He also placed fourth in the Elementary Division in the Bullseye challenge as well.
