Chamber honors community’s best

The annual Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards was held Saturday night at Atlanta Middle School. The dinner was provided by Amigo Juans and served by the Atlanta High School Class of 2021.
Rick Rowe of KTBS Channel 3 in Shreveport was guest speaker. He showed clips of several memorial stories and spoke of coming back to Atlanta to film more in our area.
Miranda Johnson, Chamber President, introduced last years’ award winners who then presented the 2021 winners. Those receiving the honored titles this year are: Youth of the Year Claire Bates; Educator of the Year Larry Breashears; Woman of the Year Marilyn Cobb; Man of the Year Richard Hozdic; and Business of the Year Bob’s Printing, owned by Clay and Tara Collins.
