Perkins named CCSO Chaplain

Atlanta First Baptist Church Music Minister, Dale Perkins, has accepted the position as Chaplain for the Cass County Sheriff ’s Office.

Perkins has been the Minister of Music at FBC since 1995 and takes over the Chaplain position at the CCSO after longtime Chaplain Mickey Rorex passed away this past December.

Perkins is also the Chaplain for the local Department of Public Safety Office.

Sheriff Rowe had this to say about Perkins accepting the new role.

“We would like to welcome Dale as our CCSO Chaplain and are grateful he accepted the offer to be.”

“Dale takes over the position after Brother Mickey Rorex passed away in December,” Rowe said. “Mickey was here a long time and did a great job as Chaplain and we know Dale will do a great job in that capacity also.”
