Run this race with patience
God knows what we need, he knows what we are going through and how long it’s going to take to get through it.
In all things, we must trust God. He knows tomorrow, he knows our future, he even knows the number of hairs on our head. He sees every sparrow that falls, why do we think he can’t take care of us. He said “Let there be”, and there it was!
He’s the creator and maker of all things, what an awesome God we serve, and he wants us to trust him. Trust his word, he won’t fail. Heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s word will not fail. What he said, he meant it, and he will bring it to pass.
Run this race with patience, we will reap if we faint not. So many falling by the wayside, so many we started out with, are no longer with us. Jesus said, In this world we would have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for he has overcome the world.
If you trust in him, you will be an overcomer. Run this race with patience, but we don’t seem to have patience for anything. We want it all right now, today! We don’t want to wait upon the Lord, and that’s when we get in trouble, because we get anxious and impatient.
We will run ahead of the Lord, because we don’t think God is moving fast enough, and we get in trouble. Then we cry unto the Lord for deliverance.
But God says “Be still, and you shall see the salvation of the Lord!” All the promises of God are Yes! And we can do All things through Christ that strengths us!
Romans 15:4 - For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
We can stand on Gods word, but we must do it with patience!
Verse 5 - Now the God of patience, and consolation, grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
Husbands and wives must be patient with each other, patient with our children, patient with fellow Saints, and remember all the times God was patient with us.
He is a God of patience and love, and he will not throw you away.
2 Timothy 2:24 - And the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient.
Patience-someone capable of bearing affliction calmly, to endure hardship or inconvenience without complaining.
No grumbling, no complaining, but trusting God in all things. Proclaiming Gods goodness to us, in all he blesses us with. To be content with whatsoever we have.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 - Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.
Hebrews 10:36 - For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.
Saints, keep running, keep going forward, let us run this race with patience, do not fall by the wayside, for we shall reap if we faint not!
