When the Spirit of the Lord moves the impossible becomes possible
We know that God is a supernatural God and he works in the realm of impossibilities. It is inconceivable to us on how God works because we can only see so far with our own natural abilities. And, even then we owe that to him.
God has told us throughout his Word that with blessings he would blessed us. We wonder how these things can be but it’s because he is God. He is God and there is no other besides him for he works the impossible. He works in the impossibility and in things not seen. He brings these things unseen to pass.
We have read the scripture many times in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen and we know without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (v6).
So we know our God works in the invisible, and the invisible becomes possible by faith. The Spirit of the Lord is making it all happen and bringing it to pass.
Just take a look at the story of Moses. In this story, the impossibility is seen when he parted the Red Sea. We see the impossibilities of the Lord all throughout Scripture, as he performed miracles after miracles for his people while operating in the realm of the supernatural, and bringing it to pass, so that we are able to visualize it with our eyes.
Furthermore, we see it again when Moses was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt. The Lord had delivered them out of the hand of pharaoh by bringing numerous plagues upon Egypt but while the people were in the wilderness, they started to complain about not having any meat to eat.
“Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent, and the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly. Moses was also displeased” (Numbers 11:1, KJV).
How is it that we can see such miracles and yet allow doubt to creep in and hinder our faith? Exercising our faith pleases God, but complaining is displeasing to him. Moses began to bring the complaints of the people before the Lord. “And the Lord said unto Moses, gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou know to be the elders of the people, and offcers over them, and bring them to the Tabernacle of the Congregation that they may stand there with thee. And I will take of the Spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them, that you don’t bear it alone (v16).
Moses didn’t understand how God was going to feed such a great multitude, but God let him know in v. 23- “and the Lord said to Moses, is the Lord’s hand waxed short? “ Thou shall see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
In verse 25, we see that the Lord came down unto Moses in a cloud, and took of the Spirit that was on Moses and placed it upon the seventy elders, and they prophesied.
God accomplished what he said he would do right before their eyes. He took what was impossible that Moses could not see, and by his Spirit he brought it to pass.
Saints, remaining faithful to God defeats unbelief, because unbelief is a lack of trust. Again it’s our unwavering faith that pleases him and gets him to move on our behalf. Whatever God has spoken in your life, he will bring it to pass. No man can curse what God has blessed, and no man can blessed what God has cursed. God almighty makes the impossible possible in our lives.
