ATLANTA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

As the temperature drops and the days get shorter Atlanta transforms into a Christmas wonderland almost overnight. This Sunday, November the 8th will be The Annual Atlanta Area Chamber’s Holiday Open House from 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

This is the offcial kickoff of the holiday shopping season. An afternoon of shopping specials, beautiful decor, delightful refreshments and all of the BEST the season has to offer! Don’t forget to pick up a shopper stamp card from the Chamber or one of our participating members!

We will finish up the event by lighting our community Christmas tree at 5 p.m. - a family friendly and festive experience!

A lot of hard work from the City of Atlanta and the merchants goes into this event to prepare. The public works team will help with erecting the giant Christmas tree and the business owners spend hours on decorating their storefront windows. The tops of the downtown buildings will be lined with Christmas lights and the Streetlight poles will be wrapped with garland.

Our downtown will look as if it was taken straight out of a Hallmark movie scene.

We encourage everyone to join us as we light the tree after a day of shopping! Truly a fun, family friendly, festive event!
