Linden-Kildare reopens

Linden-Kildare Superintedent Keri Winters announced Thursday, Oct. 22 that all three campuses would close Thursday and Friday, Oct. 23 due to a rise in positive COVID-19 cases among staff at the elementary campus.

“Closing all three campuses will allow us to do a deep cleaning on each campus and help us evaluate the extent of the spread among staff. The junior and high schools have not been directly affected, so we feel extra-curricular activities will continue as planned. Coaches will be in contact with players to make plans to meet for these activities.”

The district reopened its doors on all three campuses Monday, Oct. 26., days after it reported that seven positive cases led to the closure and to make sure proper staffing was available for all campuses.
