Railroad crossing to close for repairs

Motorists who normally travel FM 2327 North near Domino will need to find an alternate route on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Union Pacific Railroad will be closing the highway to through-traffc to make repairs to the railroad crossing.

The crossing is expected to be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until work is completed.

Traffc will offcially be detoured on a signed route on US 59. Portable message boards will be placed near the railroad crossing beforehand to warn motorists of the scheduled road closure.

The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
