Linden Lions Club

Linden Lions Club met Thursday, Aug. 3 for their weekly meeting. This week’s special guest speaker was Derek Simmons who gave an exciting talk about Linden-Kildare sports.

Announcements made include the cancelation of the Homecoming Pancake Breakfast.

The Lions Club will be hosting their annual Pumpkin Decorating contest on Oct. 31 on the square. They will also be hosting the Pot Stew on Dec. 4 on the square as well.

The Lions Club has raised $806 to go towards replacing the flags around the downtown square. They are happy to announce that the flags have arrived and will be up soon.

Finally, they will be hosting a Christmas tree sponsorship program on the square. More details to come.

The Lions Club meets every Thursday at noon in the County Seat Café meeting room to insure there is ample room for social distancing. Everyone is welcome to attend.
