COVID-19 Update

Friday, Jul. 31 the following was reported:

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports “a total of 619 positive COVID-19 cases, with 281 recoveries and 38 deaths. There are currently 300 active cases being traced in Bowie County.”

According to Bowie County Emergency Operations, “Cass County has a total 149 cases with 68 recovered and five deaths. Cass County currently has 76 active cases.”

According to the Cass County Judge’s Facebook page, “We have a total of 142 cases, 68 recoveries and 5 deaths. There are currently 69 active cases.”

According to Marion County Judge Leward, Marion County has a total of 122 cases with 58 recovered and seven deaths. LaFleur reported that the Department of State Health Services reported “-1” fatalities in which he speculated was due to an address issue.
