Kimmel leaves Linden EDC

It has been said that when one door closes, another one opens. For Arthur Kimmel, that door was at the Linden Economic Development Corporation. Starting in October of 2019, Kimmel began as the Executive Assistant at the LEDC with dreams of helping grow Linden.

While there, he was afforded the opportunity to learn and grow his job skills. However, when Covid-19 hit, this created what are now being called unprecedented times.

It was in the midst of these unprecedented times that Kimmel made the hard decision to close the door on his time at LEDC, which opened the door for another person to take his place.

Indeed, Kimmel says that though he was sad to be leaving his position at the LEDC, he was thankful for the experience. Of the skills he acquired while there, budgeting he finds, will be the most useful in his new endeavors.

He also says he is thankful to executive Director Christophe Trahan for taking the time to teach him and to work with him. As for the future, Kimmel plans to go back to college eventually and hopes to one day take the skills he learned at LEDC and use them to make a difference in the world.
