Pizza on Main offers a buffet of fun
Atlanta residents will once again have a pizza restaurant that offers a buffet full of their favorite toppings, salad and desserts; as well as a game room for the kids to play in. Located in the same building as the former Romans Pizza, next to Family Dollar on Main Street, Pizza on Main has been busy since opening on June 22.
According to the new owner, Ashley Morris, the games have been held up due to COVID-19 but should be arriving soon. Meanwhile, the party room is ready for reservations. Dine-in, delivery and curbside pickup are options. The grand opening celebration date will be announced soon.
“We will have weekly specials coming up, which will be announced on our sign when it is put up,” Ashley said. “One night a week will be devoted to fundraising. Teams and organizations can call and reserve their night, and they’ll receive 10% of the profits, plus tips.”
The party room is free and must be reserved in advance. The buffet is not available for parties, but whole pizzas can be ordered.
For those who wish to stay seated, pizza will be brought around to each table as it comes out of the oven. “We will bring food around, like a pizza parade, for those that wish not to visit the buffet,” Ashley said.
Pizza on Main serves sandwiches as well as pizza and salad. Hours are: Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The buffet is available daily from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Buffet pricing is $8.49 for adults, $4.99 for kids 5 and up, and kids under five years eat free. Drinks are separate. For reservations or information, call Ashley at 430-562-7022.
Ashley, a graduate of Bright Star High School, and her husband David Morris are also the owners of Morris Plumbing in Texarkana, where they reside with their children, Danica 11, Jett, 6, and Brooklyn, 5.
