Jerry (a Missouri hillbilly) and Fern (a North Dakota farmer’s daughter) met in Washington, D.C., married in ND and lived in Columbia MO; Atlanta, TX; Coushatta, LA and Shreveport, LA.

50 years of marriage these two have shared

A love like theirs is special and rare.

They are now enjoying their Golden Years

Having survived raising two kids,

the joys and the tears.

They will now walk the rest hand in hand

All the way into God’s Promised Land.
