Look to the future, hold on to memories, leave the past behind

This year is unprecedented in our human history concerning graduation ceremonies, among other things, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Graduation has, for the most part, always been a community event. The school districts want to do things right and keep everyone healthy while allowing graduates to feel the full effect of a special moment in their lives.

This year attendance will be limited as our area schools follow strict guidelines issued by the state and educational authority.

Tickets have been handed out to the students for invites as only a certain number of people can attend the ceremonies.

Steps have been taken by the schools and communities to make sure the seniors of 2020 have a memorable experience.

After years of hard work and determination the Class of 2020 will still get an opportunity to walk a stage so many have before them.

From the Journal-Sun staff we wish each graduate good luck, much success and plenty of blessings.
