Out on Front Street – Street Corn

10 ears corn

1 stick butter

½ cup milk

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp flour

salt and pepper

1-2 dashes of Tony’s

¼ cup queso fresco

lime wedges

¼ cup chopped cilantro

Front Street Sauce

2-3 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp Lime juice

2-3 tbsp sour cream

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and lime juice.

Street Corn

Remove the corn kernels from the cobs with a sharp knife. Melt the butter in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add the corn and cook 10ish minutes. Add milk and sugar and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, Tony Cachares to taste. Top with queso fresco and chopped cilantro. Squeeze limes to taste. Drizzle Front Street Sauce on top.
