Chamber closes

The Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce feels strongly about our responsibility to our members and our community during this delicate time.

Considering our office houses the Atlanta Historic Museum, serves as the Visitor and Information Center and provides service to the general public as a substation for Texas vehicle registrations, we are a high traffic location at times. For this reason, and in an attempt to do our part in protecting our community from the potential spread of COVID-19, we will be closing our office to the public through Friday, April 3 at a minimum. We will reevaluate from there.

Our staff will work remotely and in-office as necessary to carry on meeting the needs of our members and our community. We plan to be highly accessible by email, social media, phone and by appointment only when necessary.

In regards to vehicle registration renewals, we highly recommend that people renew online at www.txdmv.gov or by mail. The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has issued a statement and a waiver in response to COVID-19. That information can be found at txdmv.govicovid-19
