Linden-Kildare track competes in Sibley Brahma Relays

Linden-Kildare’s track program competed in the Sibley Brahma Relays Mar. 6.

Varsity Boys

Nate Holloway placed second in the 200m dash at 23.47; Dayton Hamilton placed second at 47.68 in the 300m hurdles; the 4x400m relay team of Brent White, Mike Lane, Jay Birmingham and Dayton Hamilton placed second at 3:54.16; Birmingham placed second in the high jump with a mark of 5 feet, 8 inches and White placed fourth in pole vault with a mark of 9 feet, 6 inches.

Varsity Girls

Jada Madlock placed sixth in the 100m dash at 14.31; Peyton Turner placed second in the 300m hurdles at 52.03 and Kendall Wells placed sixth at 56.82; the 4x100 relay team of Wells, Angelyna Meggs, Turner and Madlock placed sixth at 54.27; LaSonya Nard placed second in shot put with a toss of 33 feet even; Turner placed third in triple jump with a mark of 33 feet, 7 1/2 inches and in pole vault Turner placed first at 10 feet and Wells placed third at 8 feet.

JV Boys

Russel Nance placed third in the 100m dash with a time of 12.40 and Rollie Patterson placed fifth at 12.78; Braylon Fortson placed fourth in the 400m dash at 1:00.12; Nance placed second in the long jump event with a leap of 17 feet, 3 1/2 inches and Patterson placed fourth with a mark of 16 feet, 9 3/4 inches and in the triple jump Patterson placed second with a leap of 36 feet, 7 inches.

The Tigers host the Bill Hines Relays at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 19, with the Jr. Tiger Relays set for 3:30 p.m. Monday, Mar. 16.
