Atlanta Iron takes lifters to Last Chance Qualifier Meet in Maud

Atlanta Iron took a few lifters to the Last Chance Qualifying Meet in Maud Feb. 27.

Avery Whitlow placed second in the 114-pound weight class with a total lift of 625 pounds, Jordan Stiger placed second in the 181’s with a total lift of 1,165 pounds, Trey Adams notched a first place finish in the 220’s with a total lift of 1,380, Connor Samples and Clay Fant both tied for third place in the 220-pound weight class with lifts of 1,200 pounds, Ty Blizzard placed fifth in the 220’s with a total of 1,195 pounds lifted and Jaden Wells placed fourth in the 275’s with a total lift of 1,315 pounds.

The regional meet will be this weekend in Malakoff.
