SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday with lunch being served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A band plays for those in attendance every Wednesday. For more info. please call 903-799-7766.

TUESDAY

THE CASS COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City, located on the corner of Marietta and Fourth Streets. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and everyone is invited. A light meal and beverages are always served. For more info, call 903-796-3081.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY will host its annual Taco Soup Sale Feb. 5. Orders are being taken now and the last date to make an order is Wednesday, Jan. 29. You must pre-order and prepay and all orders must be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb 5, at the Atlanta Library. Order forms are available at the Atlanta Library or from a Friends member. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library. The library is located at 101 W. Hiram Street in Atlanta.
