Hey everyone! We are winding up this year and at rapid speed it seems. We want our cooking to be just as fast. We have three quick and easy dishes to prepare for this holiday season. From appetizer to the main dish served. Tie those apron strings and let’s get to cooking Cass County!
Pineapple Ball
1 package 8oz. Cream Cheese 1 Can 3.5 oz. Crushed Pineapple (drained) 2 Tablespoons Green Pepper (chopped) 1 Teaspoon Lawry’s Seasoned Salt Mix Cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper and sprinkle with Lawry’s seasoned salt. Shape into a ball and serve with crackers.
Souffle Potato
2 2/3 Cups Mashed Potato Mix 1 Egg beaten 1 Can 2.8oz. French Fried Onion Rings ½ Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Prepare mashed potato mix according to package directions. Add egg, onions and stir until blended. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1 quart dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake uncovered 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
Roast Pork in Marinade
4 Pound Lean Pork Roast 1 Can 15 oz. Tomatoes (chopped) ¼ Cup White Vinegar ¼ Cup Water Place Roast in roasting pan. Mix and pour the remaining ingredients over roast. Best to marinade overnight. Cover and bake.
