Queen City Middle School students take part in UIL meet
Nov. 9, Queen City Middle School students participated in the Math & Science Meet hosted at Atlanta Middle School.
In Number Sense QC placed first overall.
For fifth grade Abigail Bickham placed first, Ryland Durmon second and Cameron Clarke third; for sixth grade Makenna Hamilton placed second; for the seventh grade Vincent Wong placed first and Alexia Engledowl placed seventh; and for the eighth grade Micah Whittington placed second, Aidan Hamilton placed third, Mallori Stringer fourth and LaJavion Martin eighth.
In calculator QC placed fifth overall.
For fifth grade Evan Benson placed first, Ariana Robison second, Mallory Hamilton third and Turner Estes fourth; for sixth grade Mason Satterfield placed sixth, Dori Sasser seventh, Elizabeth Bickham ninth and Makenna Hamilton 10th; and for seventh grade Vincent Wong placed ninth.
In General Math QC placed second overall.
For fifth grade Abigail Bickham placed first; for sixth grade Makenna Hamilton placed 10th; for the seventh grade Vincent Wong placed first and Laynee Robison placed fifth; and for the eighth grade Mallori Stringer placed second, Micah Whittington fifth and Aidan Hamilton sixth.
In Science QC placed third overall.
For fifth grade River Holcomb placed first, Raylynn Hilgenberg second, Jaliyah Gordon fourth and Savannah Geralds sixth; for sixth grade Hailey Geralds placed second and Elizabeth Bickham fourth; for the seventh grade Vincent Wong placed third; and for the eighth grade Brooklinn Beers placed third, Jeremiah Henderson sixth, Caden Vess seventh, Luke Moore eighth and Micah Whittington 10th.
