Old World Santa

The Amity Study Club of Atlanta had there meeting at Gloria Mckinnon home. The home was decorated with homemade Old World Santa’s. If you don’t know what Old Word Santa’s look like, I encourage you to google it you want be disappointed. She appears to love to shop and stumbles on doll faces, or skates that will complete her masterpiece. Maybe extra stuffing or a new face, help bring together her masterpieces together.She sees a new life for that doll. Most of her masterpieces are 36 inches tall. She hand sews the clothes, picks out just the right fabric and lace for that particular one. Each one is different. She has made over 200 Old World Santa’s and she has given most of them as gifts. She started by making her own pattern out of paper and it went from there. She found the love of sewing from her grandmother at the age of three.
