Last week both Atlanta’s Big Bad Band from Rabbit Land and Queen City’s Band of Champions competed in the UIL State Marching Contest at the Alamodome in San Antonio. There are 211, 3A bands and roughly 22 made it to state this year. Out of those 22 only 10 made the finals. Atlanta placed fifth out of 211 bands across the state and Queen City earned a bronze medal for placing third at the state competition.
