Linden Garden Club Update

The Linden Garden Club held its monthly meeting on Thursday the 17th. Among things discussed at the meeting was the announcement of this month’s Yard of the Month winner, Jo Miller. Also announced was the donation of a book entitled “The Saved Seed” to the Linden Public Library and the elementary school.

The book is an early reader book, written by Brenda Moore, is designed to educate elementary children about the life cycle of seed plants. The Garden Club wants to encourage everyone to attend their once monthly meetings, which are held the third Thursday of every month at their building located at 300 East Houston. Meetings start at 11:30 with lunch.
