Lions Club Weekly Update

Announcements made at the Lions Club meeting for Thursday, October 17 included the reminder that all pumpkin entries for the pumpkin decorating contest being held downtown on October 31 must be turned in to City Hall before the 31. It is $5.00 to enter with a chance to win $100.

They would also like to remind everyone that entries are still being taken for a chance to win a beautiful blanket. All proceeds go to the Lions Club Scholarship with the winner to be announced on December 5 at the Christmas on the Square. The special guest speaker this week was Courtney Bradshaw. Courtney is the Regional Director of Census Development at Focused Post Acute Care Partners and the owner of Grind & Shine Espresso & Coffee Bar located in the Longview Mall.
