Taste of Linden a success

Mouths watered as visitors made their way to downtown Linden Saturday afternoon for Taste of the Town. Vendors were set up along Main Street and ready for the hungry masses to arrive when the event kicked off at 3 p.m. Those in attendance were treated to many local fares, wonderful music, and perfect weather. A section of Main Street was closed off to traffic so guests could meander around the event safely and enjoy their yummy bites to their heart’s content.

Vendors included Venice Pizza, Uncle Juan’s Mexican Restaurant, Gingerbread House, Dairy Queen, Miracle Mart, Groovy Armadillo, and a lot more.

This Taste of the Town was indeed a success as most vendors serving up delicious treats ran out before the event ended. Residents and non-residents alike also got the opportunity to shop local as many downtown shops had not only set up booths at the event but were also open to those wanting to browse. The weather was perfect for wandering the downtown area, visiting with friends and family, and popping into the local shops where the perfect treasures could be found.

Those who came to the Taste of the Town even surely left with a full tummy and full heart.
