Jesus is your ‘strong tower’

Pearl of Great Price Tabernacle

Proverbs 18:10, The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe.

Strong tower--a fortress, a safe place from the enemy.

There’s a great promise in this scripture.

The promise that when the righteous run into Jesus, they are safe.

The name of the Lord is mighty, powerful, strong, faithful, glorious, firm. The name of the Lord is a fortress, deliverer, protector, a refuge. The name of the Lord is a name above all names.

A name you can trust, a name you can count on, a name you can hold onto. There is no other name given under heaven whereby men might be saved.

Psalm 46:1-3, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. A very present help!

A right now help! He’s an on time God!

2. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.

3. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

We have nothing to fear, we are safe in Christ Jesus. Our help in storms, our healer in sickness, our comfort in sorrow.

The name of the Lord is a STRONG TOWER!

Psalm 18:1-3, I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust, my Buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus! What a powerful name it is, what a wonderful name it is, what a mighty name it is, the name of Jesus Christ our King! I love to praise him, a chorus we sing, He’s my rock, my sword and shield, He’s the wheel in the middle of the wheel!

He won’t ever let you down, he is the jewel that I have found, hallelujah, don’t you love to praise his Holy name!

That name that is a Strong tower!

And if you are righteous, then you have the right to run into it and be safe. You have the right to call on that great name of the Lord, you have the right to be protected from the enemy! What are you waiting for! You better start running! God bless.
