Lions Club Update

Announcements made at the weekly Lions Club meeting on Thursday the 10 ^th included a reminder of the pumpkin carving contest being held at the Trunk or Treat downtown Linden on October 31. Also a reminder that entries for the blanket giveaway which benefits the Lions Club Scholarship can be purchased at city hall or from Lions Club members., with the drawing to be held on December 6^th at the Chicken Pot Stew. Special guest speaker was John Baxter who works as a loan officer at Texana Bank on the square.
