Queen City church partners with local businesses for community outreach

The Queen City Assembly of God is partnering with Bronco Pawn and Quality Building of Queen City to hold its second annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 12; 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 507 U.S. Highway 59.

Admission is free to the public, and everyone is welcome. Children ages 0-12 will be given a backpack and cup for free refills. Adults will receive a cup for refills as well. There will be prizes and other giveaways. Activities include fair-style games, face painting, a barrell train ride, petting zoo, and ski ball. Hotdogs and snow cones will be served, free of charge.

Pastor Kent Craft said of the church’s outreach efforts, “Our mission is to be a blessing to our community by sharing God’s goodness to children and families in a fun-filled family friendly festival.”

Last year’s event was held at their church with around 300 in attendance. They expect approximately 500 this year at the new venue.
