Area judges attend roundtable event

Cass County Judge, Becky Wilbanks hosted a Regional Judicial Education Roundtable for area County Judges in Linden on August 19, 2019 at the County Seat Café. Education was facilitated by Mary S. Cunningham, Judicial Program Manager for the Texas Association of Counties.

Topics discussed were, Repeal of Driver Responsibility Act and Occupational Driver’s License Update and Pretrial Ignition Interlock and Ignition Interlock Requirements. Also covered in the discussion were Special Issues in Civil Proceedings such as Appeals, Dismissals/ Reinstatements, Summary Judgments, Orders/Findings of Fact, Mental Health and Guardianships.
