L-K school worker appreciation breakfast

Every school year our faithful school workers labor tirelessly without very little recognition and positive encouragement. That changed a bit this week when Texana Bank welcomed hundreds of hundreds of school workers to a tasty breakfast catered by the county seat café.

The breakfast featured a breakfast casserole, biscuits and gravy, and fruit trays served at the breakfast, along with orange juice, tea, coffee, and water.

Nearly fifty local businesses donated door prizes that consisted of a variety of things including gift certificates and specialty gift baskets.

The event was for teachers, administrators, and the other important workers that make each year special.
